Specific Indication:

Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. The specific indications may include thyrotoxicoses, intoxications of thyroid glands with trembling of hands, slowness, diarrhoea, and emaciation.

General Indication:

The symptoms of hypothyroidism are opposite from hyperthyroidism.
